Production of counterfeit goods by "Zarshed Evrostroy" was suppressed in Samarkand

In Samarkand region, in market of construction materials products appeared with illegal use of product brand «Rotband» and copying original packaging of German company «Knauf».

The company "Knauf" sent a request to the Centre against counterfeiting, providing legal protection to the intellectual property group of companies «Knauf» on the territory of Uzbekistan.

Representatives of the Centre found sale of counterfeit goods at many points.

They identified the manufacturer of counterfeit. Officer met with the manufacturer counterfeit and handed an official warning about the inadmissibility of the use of products Image brand «Rotband».

Claims representative for the obviously aroused negative reactions from entrepreneurs. Counterfeit products from the markets of Samarkand and the surrounding area have not disappeared.

Therefore the Center against counterfeit filed properly prepared documents to the antimonopoly authorities. Complaint considered State Committee on De-monopolization and Competition and issues conclusions what really took place LLC «Zarshed Evrostroy» illegal use of trademark «Rotband».

LLC «Zarshed Evrostroy» was ordered to "eliminate defects within five days."

Requirement was fulfilled and all counterfeit products has been withdrawn from the market.
